The Olympus Scandium imaging series presents a range of image-processing solutions specially designed for scanning electron microscopes (SEM). The range of products includes software solutions for portable SEMs as well as the cost-efficient Scandium SEM imaging platform with extensible solutions.
One of Scandium's distinguishing features is how easy it can be expanded and used in combination with Olympus Soft Imaging Solution's own highly specialized software extensions. Each of these is focused on fulfilling users’ requirements for their application. The basic version is solution oriented and software extensions – called Solutions – extend Scandium's range of functions for solving specific scanning electron microscopy tasks.
